What is the Multiple Listing Service (MLS)?
The MLS is an
extensive database of information on real estate
properties listed by Realtors.
When a buyer contacts
a Realtor regarding a home purchase, the agent will
search the MLS for properties meeting their
criteria. By listing your home in the MLS - agents
will show your property because you promise to pay a
commission at closing to the agent that brings you a
qualified buyer

Can I be placed on the MLS for longer than 6 months?
Yes. At the end of the first 6 month time period we
can renew your listing for a nominal charge.
Why will Real Estate Agents Show my Property?
Real Estate agents use the MLS system to locate
properties that match their buyers criteria. When
an agent matches their buyers criteria to your
property, they will see that there is a commission
payable for the sale of your property. This
commission will be the motivation for the real
estate agent to direct their buyers to your
property.
Will my property be seen Via Internet Search
Engines?
Your property will be listed on various independent
web sites including the largest
www.Realtor.com.
The MLS Listing will be available within minutes of
our entry.
It usually takes
3-7 days for your listing to appear on all
the public web sites.
What if I locate a buyer for my property on my own?
Or Can I sell my home myself?
Yes! Unlike traditional real estate you do reserve
the right to show and sell your property yourself -
if you sell your home yourself without the help of a
Realtor you pay NO
COMMISSION!
What happens when potential buyers call regarding my
property? Will they receive my
information from the listing agent or can I expect
to handle all showings and calls?
Your contact information is provided in the MLS
information available to Realtors. The listing is
notated as an open listing with the owner being the
primary contact.
How many photos can I list on the MLS?
MLS listings are allowed up to 8 photo's of your
property. We include 1 with our listing package.
Does the buyers agent assist with the offer
paperwork?
The Buyer's agent should assist in the offer, please
call us if any questions arise.
How many forms do I have to fill out to get my
property listed on the MLS?
There are two simple forms you will need to complete
standard Listing Agreement and the property
description worksheet .
How many potential customers will see my ad?

How do I check to make sure all the information on

After entry into the MLS database you will be
supplied with an MLS number which corresponds to
your listing. Review all the data and if corrections
or changes need to be made simply email us your
request.
How do I find my property that is listed for sale
online?
We will supply you with an MLS number associated
with your property, simply enter that in to any of
the many home location sites and your property will
